Mattox Law sent me unsolicited mail offering to represent me in the reckless driving case - that worked well for both sides! With clean driving record and 8hr online driving school reckless driving was reduced to a defective equipment charge with a reasonable fine (no record, no points). Mattox Law was a blessing in disguise!!! I got fined for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle that was cops on the highway. This is considered reckless driving in Virginia, and I live in NC. Cops could have towed my car and put me in jail but I was cooperative and apologized to them, so they just gave me a citation. Mattox Law reduced the reckless driving, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, a misdemeanor to failure to obey a highway sign while sleeping, an infraction and a non-moving violation. No points in my driving record and insurance. I just paid a fine of $100 plus a court fee. Communication with Mattox Law was very professional. They answered all my questions and concerns. Wow! Completely blown away! I was pulled over in VA during a road trip. I had an out of state license. I was clocked going 90, and was completely unaware that I was at risk of being slapped with a reckless driving charge. Thankfully, my officer was kind and dropped the speeding down so that I wouldn't have to face that or have to return to the state for court. I'm so glad I did my research as paying the ticket would've not only gone on my record, put points on my license, increased my insurance rate, but it would've also suspended my license for 30 days based on my state's law. I called around to multiple lawyers in the area and it wasn't looking good. I was overwhelmed with all of it. I had lawyers telling me I'd have to take a driving class and were quoting me hefty prices. I'm so thankful I found Mattox Law. Not only was his price extremely fair, but he was also such a pleasure to speak with. Mr. Mattox wasn't concerned at all, he even told me that I definitely did NOT need to take a class. The whole conversation put my mind at ease. The process was smooth and easy. Everyone in his office was also very kind. Mark is HILARIOUS!
