Reckless Driving 89/55 Reduced to Improper Driving

In Virginia, anything 20 mph over the speed limit is considered reckless driving and is classified as a class 1 misdemeanor. This individual was stopped for traveling 34 mph over the posted speed limit.  A conviction would have added a class 1 misdemeanor to his criminal record and 6 points to our clients driving record. Those points would have stayed there for 11 years! Trey was able successfully secure a reduction to improper driving, avoiding the misdemeanor conviction. This only added 3 point to our clients record and will only stay there for 3 years.
