Reckless Driving 55/35 Reduced to Non-Moving Violation

This week in Sussex, Virginia a Mattox Law client was charged with reckless driving for traveling 55 miles per hour in a 35 mile per hour zone.  Trey was able to obtain an outcome resulting the charge being reduced to a non-moving violation, defective speedometer.  This reduction prevented any points from going on the clients driving record and avoided the misdemeanor conviction.  Trey was also able to get the fine reduced to $120.00 with no license suspension.
