Reckless Driving 83/70 Reduced to Non-Moving Violation

This individual was charged with reckless driving, a class 1 misdemeanor, for traveling 83 miles per hour in a 70 mile per hour zone. Mecklenburg is know for not taking these offenses lightly. Trey advised this client to complete an aggressive driving school and have his vehicles speedometer calibrated. This allowed Trey to achieve a reduction to a non-moving violation called, defective equipment. Had this client been convicted 6 points would have been added to his driving record for 11 years! This reduction prevented any points from going on to his driving record.
