Reckless Driving 89/70 Reduced to Speeding 80/70

Earlier this year, Trey represented a client charge with reckless driving,  for traveling 89 mph in a 70 mph zone. A reckless driving conviction would have added a class 1 misdemeanor to his criminal record. This could have been detrimental to his security clearance and military career. Trey advised him to have his speedometer calibrated and complete an 8 hour defensive driving school prior to court. This paired with the clients letter of apology and clean driving record allowed Trey to obtain a reduction to a simple speeding infraction.
