Reckless Driving 97/70 Reduced to Improper Driving

Hopewell, Virginia is so heavily patrolled it seems impossible to pass through without seeing a stopped car or being stopped yourself by one of their sheriff's. This particular client was stopped and charged with reckless driving for allegedly traveling 97 mph in a 70 mph zone. Our client was facing jail timelicense suspension, and a class 1 criminal misdemeanor. On the day of court, Trey was able to avoid the jail time and license suspension with completion of an aggressive driving school and community service. Having extensive expierence with the Hopewell court system, Trey advised our client to exceed the number of ordered community service hours. By going above and beyond the court order, Trey was not only able to prevent a license suspension and jail time, but he was also able to achieve a reduction from reckless driving to improper control/driving.
