Reckless Driving 99/70 Reduced to Speeding 79/70

In Caroline County, this Mattox Law client was charged with reckless driving for traveling 99 mph in a 70 mph zone. A conviction would have resulted in a class 1 misdemeanor on his criminal record and a license suspension. Despite having a clean driving record, Trey Mattox recommended our client complete a 12 hour aggressive driving school, community service, write a letter of apology, and appear in court personally with Trey.  On the day of court, Trey was able to obtain a reduction to a simple speeding infraction of just 9 over the limit! Furthermore, the judge only ordered our client to pay $115.00 in fines and court costs! At this speed the standard fine alone is $665!
